We're Back

I'm sure some of you observed the sorry state of the web site. It got broken, and took a bit to restore to a decent state. We're not through yet, so stay tuned for further improvements.

At this point, we won't be supporting comments, and login accounts. They weren't used anyway, so I don't think anyone will miss them.

SDMCC Meetings are Cancelled Through September

Submitted by admin on Sat, 07/25/2020 - 13:23

We've been told that the automotive museum will be closed at least through the end of September. We will not be having any in-person meetings until the museum reopens. Any themes we don't hold this year, will get rolled over to next year. We hope you'll keep building! It's been an excellent activity for most of us, and we'll look forward to seeing you all when we can do so safely.

A Very Comprehensive Kit Catalog

Wondering about some of the kits in you stash? Tim Shipley found a site with an extremely comprehensive listing of all types of plastic model kits. It will also help you manage your inventory. Just poking around, I found some interesting stuff I never knew existed. So, even if you don't have some mystery kit, it's a fun place to visit.

The site is ScaleMates, and can be found at https://www.scalemates.com/kits/
